We offer a few selection different version of zirconia ceramics, including white, black, yellow and bule. These different version have their own characteristic.Like white yttria stabilized zirconium oxide (3Y-TZP) is a  kind of specialty material for critical structural ceramic applications. The material is almost completely tetragonal in structure and is partially stabilized using around 3 mol% of Yttria (Y2O3) which offers a highest flexural strength of the zirconia materials particularly when processed using a HIP (Hot Isostatic Press). The excellent mechanical properties of this material are a result of a very small grain size, extremely low porosity, and a good deal of transformation toughening. Also, we offer 5% mol% of yttria stabilised zirconia, which called 8Y-TZP.

Yellow magnesium oxide stabilised zirconia is the other version we have. This cubic phase material is loaded with tiny tetragonal phase precipitates, giving a very high level of transformation toughness. Mg-PSZ is able to give the highest level of fracture toughness. It has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, fracture toughness, wear resistance, good thermal shock and low thermal conductivity.

Why the zirconia to be black? In order to enhance no static electricity and decrease the friction in the specific operation, some special black pigment will be added in the yttria stabilized zirconia compound.

Due to these characteristics it finds use in high wear and corrosion applications including textile ceramic guides, valves, pumps and liners. It is the material of choice for the chemical processing and petrochemical industries

The features of Zirconia Ceramic Components

1. High density:  over 6 g/cm3, which makes it the densest body of the ceramic products
2. High hardness: over 9 on Mohs scale, diamond being 10, with a satin-smooth surface finish
3. High toughness: over 1200 MPa, approx. 4 times in comparison with 95% alumina, not easy to break
4. Excellent wear resistance, it's much better than aluminum oxide ceramics with longer life cycle
5. Low thermal conductivity:  less than 3 W/m.k at ambient temperature, so it's an ideal thermal material
6. Good chemical and corrosion resistance, withstand various of strong acids and alkali in high temperature
