What are Alumina Metalized Ceramics?

Many technologies have been used to join alumina ceramics to itself, or alumina ceramics to metals, but the main challenge is the poor wettability of ceramics by filler alloys. It's hardly impossible to braze together directly. The problem is usually solved by treating the ceramic surface to give them metallic characteristics.
