This Pepper mill mechanism kit is compose of a set ceramic grinding mechanism, an aluminum shaft or stainless steel shift, 3 plastic holder, a plastic housing, an adjustive wheel and a metal plates. Available in central driven shaft sizes of 76 mm (3" approx) or 762 mm (30" approx).  

Since the ceramic grinding mechanism is made from high alumina ceramic, one of technical ceramic material which offers diamond-like hardness,  it makes the service life-time much longer than tradditional stainless steel ones. Besides, alumina ceramic owns very stable chemical stability, it doesn't react to almost all acids and alkalis. So the mill mechanism is suitable for grind a variety of sea salts.
