High Precision Large Size Metallized Ceramic Tube

We fabricate a great many of customized refractory Metallized alumina ceramics for use in vacuum breaker, vacuum electron tubes, vacuum interrupters, power grid tubes and similar applications where ceramic-to-metal, ceramic to ceramic joining technology of superb bonding strength and hermeticity are required.

Our facility specializes in molybdenum/tungsten and tungsten thick film metallization on 95% alumina ceramics. Also, we metallized high purity alumina, like 99% alumina, zirconia and beryllia as per customers' need. We utilize electro or electroless nickel/silver/gold plating as the preferred deposition over metallization. The result in a system easily brazed with cooper-silver, pure cooper, gold and other common braze alloys.

The largest diameter is up to 800 mm and the longest length can be up to 1000 mm. The typical plating as below:

1. Raw ceramic + Mo/Mn metallization 2. Raw ceramic + Mo/Mn metallization + Nickle plating
