Metallized Ceramic Ring for thyristors is commonly made of aluminum oxide ceramics,  both end surface coated with a metallisation as base layer which the typical metallisation is Molybdenum- magnesia, then it should be fired in the high temperature furnace to form a film on the specific surface, afterwards deal with a nickle electroplating.
