Alumina, also known as aluminum oxide, is a extremely hard wearing advanced technical ceramic material frequently used in a wide variety of industrial applications. Once the ceramic body sintered, it can only be machined using diamond-grinding methods. It features corrosion resistance, high hardness and wear resistance,high electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, and bioinertness. Due to these outstanding properties, it's always used as the ceramic protection tube for acid-base environment industry, ceramic protection housing for electrical industries.
It is the most regularly type of available advanced alumina in purities ranging from 95 – 99.8%. These alumina ceramic tube can be formed via dry pressed, hot pressed, injection molded, isostatically pressed and extrued. DIfferent shaping process will be decided as per the specific applications. In cater to different needs of different customer, all these Ceramic Tubes can be polished, glazed, machined and metallized, then enhance the mechanical strength, insulation breakdown strength, protection features further, or suitable for more precision fitting relationship.
